Chapter 15 - The New Dynasty and the Sunrise Over New York Harbor

The sun rose over New York Harbor, painting the Manhattan skyline in brilliant shades of gold, rose, and amber.

From the balcony of the penthouse suite, Dante Moretti stood watching the cargo ships glide smoothly across the sparkling waters of the Hudson River. The docks were secure. The council was unified under a banner of absolute loyalty and justice. The enemies who had sought to tear his world apart were gone, buried beneath the weight of their own treachery.

Behind him, the soft sound of pattering footsteps echoed across the hardwood floor.

“Dante!”

He turned just in time as little Isla ran out onto the balcony, her arms outstretched, wearing a bright yellow sweater and laughing as the morning breeze caught her curls.

Following close behind her with two cups of hot coffee was Elena, smiling warmly as the sunlight caught her face, looking every bit like a queen who had finally found her true kingdom.

Dante knelt down, catching Isla in his arms and swinging her up into the air as she giggled with unbridled joy. He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, inhaling the sweet scent of childhood and safety.

He looked over at Elena, handing her one of the cups of coffee before pulling her close against his side with his free arm.

“Are we going to stay here forever?” Isla asked, tilting her head as she looked out over the vast, beautiful city below them.

Dante smiled, his gaze sweeping across the magnificent skyline of New York—a city that feared him, respected him, and now belonged entirely to his family.

“Forever,” Dante whispered, kissing Elena’s cheek as the morning sun broke fully over the horizon, casting a golden light over their new beginning.

**THE END.**
